The Opening Ceremony of International Container Yard in Export Processing Zone of Xi’an, Shaanxi

In February 28^th , 2011, the opening ceremony of international container yard in export processing zone of Xi’an, Shaanxiwas held in export processing zone of Xi’an Economic and Technical Development Zone. People who attended the ceremony are as follows: Xu Wenliang, president of Shaanxi Easyway International Freight Co., Ltd., Wang Guolong, deputy director of the Department of Commerce of Shaanxi Province, Xiao Li, commissioner of Xi’an Customs, Shao Bai, deputy director of Shaanxi Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, Guo Xuemin, vice president of Xi’an Political Consultative Conference, and secretary of party work committee of Xi’an Economic and Technical Development Zone, Jia Shenglin, chairman of administrative commission of Xi’an Economic and Technical Development Zone, Duan Yonghe, vice chairman of the administrative commission, Li Yuepeng, manager of Maersk, Wang Yuhong, manager of OOCL, Zhou Xuan, manager of CMA-CGM, Jia Haitao, manager of APL, many other representatives of shipping companies and foreign trade import and export enterprises.
The international container yard in export processing zone of Xi’an, Shaanxi was jointly invested of 11 million RMB by Shaanxi Easyway International Freight Co., Ltd. and Xi’an Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 12000 square meters. The new container yard has advanced international logistics management system. Maximum daily storage of international container is 1800 TEU. It has the domestic advanced inspection and quarantine fumigation and culling disinfection system. It is the largest international container yard in Shaanxi province, and one of the international container yards with a large scale and advanced equipment within domestic customs supervision area, combining the inspection and quarantine system and storage and stockpiling function.
